Retained by Kansas City-based Burns & McDonnell — a large architectural, engineering, and project management company — to develop and brand a new company, Colbert Burns & McDonnell (CBM), in partnership with Colbert Golf, a successful golf course management company. To provide golf development and management services to tax-exempt entities. Under the CBM umbrella, Lundine & Associates provided pre-construction management to Sycamore Ridge Golf Course at the City of Spring Hill, Kansas. The project is an 18-hole championship course for a small city in suburban Kansas City. Lundine & Associates responsibility was for development activities except for construction management. Some of the activities included the selecting and acquiring the site; management of the major stakeholders; structuring the transaction; development and management of the development budgets; selecting the contractor, architect, underwriter, feasibility consultant, and bond council.

Sycamore Ridge is rated one of Kansas’ top 10 courses by Golf Digest the last 3 years, and the number one rated golf course in Kansas City by the Kansas City Star 4 years running.
